The Family Services Program
Real Support, Real Change
The Family Services Program is an 8-month pilot program for hourly employees of hospitality and their families. This program connects families with resources that will promote their long-term upward mobility and bring them closer to achieving the goals they set forth for themselves. It will kick off in February of 2025 and conclude in October of 2025.
The application cycle for 2025 is now closed. For future inquiries, email: Leticia@lafondafoundation.org
The three areas of focus are:
Education and Workforce Development
Financial Prosperity and Housing
Customized support specific to the needs of the family
Each family member set goals and co-creates a plan to achieve them. They will meet with experts individually and in small groups. Throughout the entire program, they will get support from La Fonda Foundation to ensure they are getting the guidance and resources they need to thrive as a family. Finally, this program will introduce the participating families to one another to create a community of support.
Each participating family is eligible for a stipend of up to $7,000 to cover costs that may be incurred (transportation, childcare, etc.) and compensation for their time.
